MK5 Weld Controller

Mark 5 Weld contollers

The Mk5 weld control has a non-synchronous timer with a weld time range of 5 - 30 cycles with thyristor switching and phase shift heat control from 40% to 100%. This control is manufactured by Isomatic, competitively priced and will be adequate for most general purpose work.

Mark 5 Specification

Input: 50/60 Hz, single phase, either 220-250V or 110V
Output: A line current switched through a thyristor
Time range: 5 to 25 cycles, set by rotary weld time control
Heat range: 20 to 100% set by stepless phase shift heat control
Initiation: Closure of 12V DC circuit in weld gun microswitch
Accuracy: To within +/- one cycle
Maintenance: None; solid state throughout on a printed circuit board
